Central Bank approves BNDESPar investments in Simpar, Vamos, Movida and JSL

13 Apr (Reuters) – ⁠The Central Bank approved investments ‌by BNDESPar, the holding arm of BNDES, ‌in Simpar, Vamos, Movida and JSL, the companies announced this Monday.

The ⁠companies ‌also stated that ⁠the approval, by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade), of BNDESPar’s investments in the companies has become final.

‘Thus, all precedent conditions set out in the BNDESPar investment agreement were verified’, stated the relevant fact of the Simpar holding company.

At the beginning of March, Simpar announced a billion-dollar capital increase with BNDESPar as anchor investor, with an investment of around R$1.5 billion in the holding company and its subsidiaries Vamos ⁠and Movida. BNDESPar still has an option to buy a stake in JSL.
