Daniel Vilela leads scenarios for governor of Goiás, says Gerp

A Gerp survey released this Tuesday (April 14, 2026) shows that the governor of Goiás, (MDB), leads the dispute for the State government in all scenarios tested.

Gerp interviewed 1,206 people in Goiás from April 6 to 10, 2026. The margin of error is 2.88 percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level is 95%. The research is registered with the Superior Electoral Court under number GO-09229/2026. According to the company, the study cost R$12,000 and was paid for with its own resources. The current governor Daniel Vilela is the candidate of (PSD), who wants to run for President. Vilela has percentages ranging from 42% to 45% of voting intentions in the 1st round.

Gerp also tested 3 second round scenarios for governor of Goiás. In all of them, Vilela leads with percentages ranging from 61% to 68% of voting intentions.

REJECTION

The Gerp survey measured the rejection of the main names in the dispute for the government of Goiás.

The pre-candidates (PT) and (PSDB) lead in this regard, with 39% and 31% of those interviewed stating that they would not vote for them, respectively. Vilela records 5% rejection.
