The President of the Chamber, (-PB), took advantage of lunch with President Lula this Tuesday (14) to criticize the performance of the minister (General Secretariat) and complain about the ‘belligerent tone’ he uses in relation to the Legislature.
In the conversation, Motta showed irritation and said that Boulos doesn’t have votes even within his party, but he still hinders the Lula government.
The psolist tried to approve a federation with the PT, but was defeated within his own party.
The conflictive relationship between the two is not new. Motta had already been complaining about Boulos to other government ministers.
The president of the Chamber attributed to the palace an attempt to reissue the “Congress enemy of the people”, a motto raised by left-wing activists, in 2025, at the height of the crisis between government and Congress.
