The Slovak ice hockey team won Thursday’s match of preparation for the WC 2026 in Topoľčany nad Švěřice 3:1. The shooting account in the national team was opened by two debutants. In the second period, Matúš Vojtech scored the first goal, in the third he was joined by defender Jakub Meliško. The victory of the Slovak selection was sealed by Andrej Kukuča. Both teams will meet in the same city on Friday from 4:30 p.m.
