In October 2022, on the eve of the second round of elections, Zambelli argued with a supporter of then-candidate Lula (PT) on a street, in the Jardins neighborhood, in São Paulo, and chased him with a gun in hand.
On August 22nd of last year, the Federal Supreme Court (STF) condemned Zambelli to 5 years and 3 months in prison for illegal possession crimes of a weapon and illegal restraint with the use of a firearm. The score was 9 to 2 in favor of conviction.
She already had another extradition request approved, in in relation to the invasion of the National Justice Council (CNJ) systems.
Second extradition request
This is as for the departure of the former deputy from the European country.
