Several beaches on Costa da Caparica will be closed to replace sand. The work, which should have taken place at the end of last year, was resumed this Friday.
It is process will be phasedand the São João de Caparica area will be intervened by May.
Still in April, the sand begins to be replenished between the beaches of Santo Antônio and Dragão Vermelhofollowed by Praia Nova and Nova Praia between May and June.
For now the land is being repairedand the sand will only begin to arrive next week.
A total volume of one million cubic meters will be removed from the seabed to feed or areal.
Also in the south, work is being carried out to artificially nourish the beaches between Quarteira and Garrão, in the municipality of Loulé, which should last until May 6th.
