Two days before his father’s death, Ana Paula Renault burst into tears on BBB 26 when she thought about him. On Friday (17), during the Finalist Test, she vented to Juliano Floss and Milena.
started the conversation by questioning why they were on the reality show. “When in your life will you have the opportunity to win almost six million reais? Can’t you see how serious this is? You can have fun, you can laugh, you can do everything. But never forget why we are here. What did you join Big Brother for?”
Milena then explained that she joined the game to “live and break the bubble” in which she grew up. Ana Paula then told Juliano that everyone thinks differently and that they have to “respect each other’s goals”.
“Mine has always been all or nothing. For me, it’s always been the prize or nothing. I have worries that my brain can’t block out anymore. I don’t know how my father is, I don’t know what the situation is like at home. […] I don’t even know if he will understand why I disappeared. The only person who has always supported me”said the ex-BBB 16, already in tears during the conversation.
“Your father remembers you, he has a wonderful mind. He was the one who supported you to come here. Emotions are running high right now”, consoled Milena.
Ana Paula Renault’s father dies
. The BBB 26 participant’s family broke the news in a statement on social media. “With deep sadness, Ana Paula Renault’s team announces the death of her father, Gerardo Henrique Machado Renault”, says the statement.
Family members also revealed the choice not to inform sister just two days before the final. “In the face of such a painful moment, the family decided to respect the wishes he expressed in life and not communicate it. Ana Paula will remain on the program”, said the text.
