St. Pölten – The state party executive of the SPÖ Lower Austria has unanimously nominated Sven Hergovich as a candidate for election as chairman at the state party conference. Just a week ago, there were signs of a vote between the current chairman Hergovich and Health State Secretary Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig. The latter then withdrew her candidacy. SPÖ regional manager Wolfgang Zwander emphasized the unity in the decision.
