A Panini started selling the sticker album in Spain without including Neymar among the players of the Brazilian team. If confirmed, it will be the striker’s first absence in the last 4 editions of the tournament.
The exclusion is also repeated in another product of the brand. The collection “Adrenalyn XL”a card game with 11 athletes per selection, also did not include Neymar.
The Brazilian team page in the album has the following names:
- goalkeepers: Alisson and Bento;
- defenders: Marquinhos, Éder Militão, Gabriel Magalhães, Wesley and Danilo;
- socks: Bruno Guimarães, Lucas Paquetá and Casemiro;
- attackers: Vini jr., Rodrygo, Luiz Henrique, João Pedro, Matheus Cunha, Gabriel Martinelli, Raphinha and Estêvão. Rodrygo, however, will not compete in the tournament after suffering a knee injury.
The album will have 980 stickers, a number higher than the 670 in the 2022 edition, reflecting the expansion to 48 selections. Each package will cost R$7 and will contain 7 stickers. The simple version of the album will be sold for R$24.90, while the hardcover edition will cost R$79.90. The launch in Brazil will be on May 1st.
A special version with a box and 40 packages will be sold for R$ 359.90. The estimate is that the cost to complete the album could exceed R$7,000, considering the total number of stickers and the dynamics of sticker repetition.
