Amanhecer opens new store in Olhão and reinforces its presence in the Algarve

The traditional Amanhecer retail chain recently opened a new store in the Algarve, located on Avenida Dom João VI, in Olhão. With this opening, the chain now has 67 establishments in the region.

The new Minimercado Olhão is part of the brand’s expansion strategy, which continues to focus on proximity and traditional commerce.

Partnership boosts local business

Responsible for the space, Jagjeet Singh, a Recheio customer for two years, identified joining the network as an opportunity to boost his business and respond to the needs of the local community.

Integration into the Amanhecer network appears as a way of reinforcing the establishment’s competitiveness, maintaining a close relationship with customers.

Network highlights investment in proximity commerce

Ângela Soares, director of operations at Amanhecer for the South region, highlights that “integrating family businesses and entrepreneurs who want to grow with us into our project is a sign of trust”.

The executive adds that the brand’s model is based “on a true partnership, which keeps neighborhood relationships and personalized service alive”, characteristics that continue to differentiate traditional retail.

In 2026, the network marks 15 years of activity under the motto “15 years toasting with our neighbors here on earth”, reinforcing the connection with the community.

Among the planned initiatives, the “Sacão da Sorte” stands out, which offers R$1,000 each week in purchases at the chain’s stores, as part of the celebrations. Details can be found at .

Created in 2011 by Recheio Cash & Carry, the Amanhecer network is based on a partnership model that allows merchants to maintain the management of their businesses, benefiting from commercial conditions, support and their own brand.

Currently, the chain has more than 750 stores across the country, including the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira.
