Athletic and Internacional face each other this Wednesday (22), at 8:30 pm, at the Orlando Scarpelli Stadium, in Santa Catarina, in a match valid for the first leg of the fifth phase of the Copa do Brasil.
O Athletic already makes history in the competition. It is the first time, since 2023, that the Minas Gerais team has reached this far in the tournament. Despite coming from a 2-1 defeat against Novorizontino in Series B of the Brazilian Championship, the black and white team has already played for Rio Branco-ES, Ypiranga-RS and Sport.
Internacional makes its debut in the competition in 2026 and is stuck in the Brazilian Championship, in 14th position with 13 points.
