The hospital and the day of transfer will be negotiated between the defense of the founder of Banco Master and the Federal Police
Minister André Mendonça, of the Federal Supreme Court, authorized, this Wednesday (April 22, 2026), the release of the founder of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro, from prison to undergo medical treatment. Vorcaro will leave the headquarters of the Federal Police Superintendence in Brasília for the first time since he was transferred to the unit.
The information was confirmed by Poder360. The businessman fell ill last weekend and even urinated blood. Since then, he has been monitored by doctors from the Federal Police. With the decision, Vorcaro will be able to leave the unit where he is serving preventive detention for hospital care.
The hospital and transfer time will be negotiated between Vorcaro’s defense and the Federal Police, which will be responsible for escorting the person under investigation during his stay at the health unit.
Since March 19, Vorcaro’s defense, the PF and the Attorney General’s Office have been negotiating the terms for a possible plea bargain agreement.

On March 13, André Mendonça defended the maintenance of precautionary measures against those investigated in the 3rd phase of Operation Compliance Zero and stated that:
- there are still 8 Daniel Vorcaro cell phones to analyze;
- the police “proven the practice of acts of concrete threats” and that a former Vorcaro employee and his family were threatened with death;
- the group called A Turma, responsible for intimidating the former banker’s opponents, “it still presents itself as a dangerous threat in a latent state, as it has members who are still at large”;
- was found with Luiz Phillipi Mourão, the Sicário (), an illegal weapon.
In addition to Vorcaro, the following were arrested in the 3rd phase of the operation:
- Fabiano Zettelinvestigated for making payments and guiding an intimidation center;
- Marilson Roseno da Silvaretired federal police officer investigated for participating in a group monitoring Vorcaro’s opponents;
- Luiz Phillipi Machado de Moraes Mourãocalled Sicário – he on March 6 after trying to kill himself while in Federal Police custody in Belo Horizonte. The corporation did not detail what happened.
