The problem is that the president’s government (PT) is dissatisfied. Azi has already told allies that he is in favor of a middle-term text. Reduce working hours to just 40 hours a week instead of 36, with time for adaptation and compensation for affected companies – such as payroll relief.
The government wants immediate implementation. The agenda is the main one in search of the 4th term. The IR (Income Tax) exemption did not yield the laurels Planalto expected.
The President of the Chamber, (Republicanos-PB), will decide on Friday (24 April) the day on which the special commission will be installed. But it will be next week.
There are several parties that covet the presidency and rapporteurship of the commission. The PT wants to hire someone with good experience with the bench and Planalto, but not necessarily from the legand. Motta wants to keep Azi on the rapporteur. The group opposing the federal government as well.
The president of the Chamber told allies that he will not include anyone ideologically committed so as not to harm the progress of the proposal.
