Ryanair will change check-in and bag drop times. Starting in November, the airline will end services 60 minutes before flight time, instead of the current 40 minutes.
The measure comes into force on November 10th at all airports where Ryanair operates.
The company also reported, in that “more self-service bag drop kiosks will be installed throughout its network, with more than 95% of airports having these kiosks by October”.
The kiosks are “fully integrated with the Ryanair app, allowing passengers to check-in baggage and print baggage tags.”
“It will allow 20% of our customers – those who check baggage – more time to go through airport security and passport queues, arriving at the boarding gate on time, especially during busy periods, when some of these airport queues can be longer”, explains Ryanair’s marketing director, Dara Brady.
The Irish airline believes this measure will speed up the delivery of hand luggage and reduce waiting times.
