BRB and Arena Mané Garrincha end naming rights agreement

Concessionaire that manages the stadium says that the decision to close it was taken by mutual agreement between the parties

BRB (Bank of Brasília) and Arena Mané Garrincha announced the closure of the naming rights. As of this Thursday (April 23, 2026), the stadium commercially returns to its original name and stops using the financial institution’s brand. The partnership has been in effect since 2022.

According to , the concessionaire that manages the stadium, the decision was taken by mutual agreement between the parties. The removal of brands, identifications and other visual elements associated with the bank will be carried out in a gradual and coordinated manner and will not have an impact on the continuity of the activities of the sports complex, which will maintain its normal operations.

So far, the management of Arena Mané Garrincha has not announced whether it will begin prospecting for a new commercial partner for the name of the stadium.

On Monday (April 19), BRB announced the beginning of an agreement with the investor group Quadra Capital to transfer R$15 billion in solid assets.

The review of sponsorship contracts, such as the one maintained with Mané Garrincha, is part of BRB’s fiscal adjustment plan. The bank is also evaluating the issuance of shares and the creation of a real estate fund to balance its balance sheet.
