Conversations would be to narrate Formula 1 on the broadcaster; the presenter has a contract with “TV Globo” until December 29
The TV presenter confirmed that he is negotiating with Band to join the broadcaster from 2025. In an interview with Charrua Radiohe said on Friday (Dec 20, 2024) that, if a deal is closed, it would be for a program.
“Look, there are conversations. My contract with Globo runs until December 31st and it was a very peaceful departure. I stay on air until the 29th with Craque da Voz and then it ends. I already have a contract signed with Amazon, for Brasileirão and Copa do Brasil”he stated.
The negotiations are for Galvão Bueno to narrate Formula 1. In 1980, the presenter made his debut narrating the motorsport category on television. The following year, he was hired by TV Globo.
“In fact, there are some conversations with the Band. The Band is my home. The Band is very important to me. It was like Faustão. He left Gazeta, went to Band and then Globo. It was at Band that I started narrating Formula 1. It’s a possibility”these.
Recently, the Marinho family TV held an event for the advertising market in which they displayed a Formula 1 car with the phrase “It will be?” –indicating that it could resume broadcasting the sport.
However, Band confirmed in early November that it will air the 2025 season.
From 2025, Galvão Bueno, 74 years old, will be part of Amazon Prime Video’s Brazilian Championship and Copa do Brasil broadcast team. According to the UOLthe contract was signed on Sunday (Dec 22).
