Panini confirms World Cup album without Neymar’s presence – 04/24/2026 – Sports

Panini confirmed this Friday (24) the authenticity of the World Cup album sold in Spain without the presence of Neymar among the Brazilian team players.

The Spanish version was published by the country’s press vehicles. In Brazil, the World Cup album will be released on the 1st.

In addition to the absence of Neymar —the main star of the Brazilian team in recent years, but not yet called up by coach Carlo Ancelotti—, Rodrygo’s presence drew attention. The Real Madrid striker would likely be present at the World Cup, but suffered a recent injury and will not compete in the competition, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The album may also have another casualty, that of Estêvão, who suffered an injury. The Chelsea player suffered a grade 4 muscle injury in the game against Manchester United, last Saturday (18), and, at this moment, his presence in the World Cup is considered highly unlikely.

In Panini’s “call-up”, the Brazilian team appears with two goalkeepers, five defenders, three midfielders and eight attackers.

Neymar, who played in the last three World Cups and was on the last three official albums, is still awaiting Ancelotti’s call-up, scheduled for May 18th.
