Ukraine was attacked by 47 missiles and more than 600 drones on Saturday night. In its morning briefing, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army, quoted by the British station BBC, reported about it, writes TASR.
The main target of the attack is the eastern Ukrainian city of Dniprofrom where they report two casualties and 15 injured, including two children, extensive fires and damaged apartment buildings. One of the industrial buildings in the city was also hit. In its report published shortly after 08:00 CEST, the BBC noted that the attack on Dnipro had been going on for ten hours.
Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Odesa and Kyiv regions were also targeted in the attack on the night of Saturdaythe Ukrainian army said. The air defense system managed to shoot down or suppress 30 missiles and 580 drones. 13 missiles and 36 drones hit their targets.
The Ukrainian command specified that the Russian army launched 12 ballistic missiles at Ukraine on Saturday night type Iskander-M/S-400, 29 Ch-101 guided missiles, five Kalibr guided missiles and one cruise missile Iskander-K.
