Krems/Stein/Mautern – The Stein-Mautern Danube bridge can only be used to a limited extent based on a report. Motorized private traffic will be redirected via the St. Pöltner Bridge along the B37. The detour is around 3.7 kilometers. Cyclists, pedestrians and agricultural vehicles up to five tons will continue to be able to use the Danube Bridge in both directions in the future. The structural measures must be implemented within four weeks, it was announced in a broadcast on Monday.
