At the end of April, the season on Mount Everest is in full swing. With the prospect of favorable weather windows from around mid-May, the many paying customers in Nepal should have been acclimatizing long ago, i.e. moving up and down the mountain a bit in order to slowly get used to the extreme altitude that they want to reach on the day of the summit attempt: Mount Everest is 8,848 meters high.
