PT sees uncertainty in three states for 2026 election – 04/28/2026 – Panel

The PT considers it to have resolved almost all state platforms for the October elections, with the exception of three.

In Goiás, the candidacy considered strongest for the government would be that of federal deputy Delegate Adriana Accorsi, but she prefers to run for a new term in the Chamber.

The party has no obvious options to support the other declared candidates: current governor Daniel Vilela (MDB), an ally of Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) and former Tucano governor Marconi Perillo.

In Maranhão, vice-governor Felipe Camarão could be the candidate, but he is broken with the current governor. The PT could support Eduardo Braide (PSD), former mayor of São Luís.

In Paraíba, the PT state directory supports the re-election of governor Lucas Ribeiro (PP), but the national leadership and Lula himself are close to the
