An intimate image of the former federal deputy (PP-PI), aged 79, was published on his Instagram profile and began circulating on social media on Monday (27.Apr.2026).
The content was published in the stories of the former parliamentarian’s account and deleted shortly afterwards. Even so, records of the publication were captured by users and reproduced on other platforms.
The former deputy left his Instagram profile private, and until the last update, he did not comment on the episode. There is also no information about any measures adopted to contain the dissemination of the content.
With a political career in Piauí, Átila Lira served in the Chamber of Deputies and was aligned with the political camp of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
