One main impression first. A giant nation in a work and consumer frenzy – of items that, unlike us in Europe today, they all produce themselves. Deindustrialization? Full industrialization, also with regard to the digital world. In addition: surveillance, cameras? Omnipresent. Migrants? Nowhere.
