Weather forecast
For the weekend, Inmet predicts storms in the Southern Region of Brazil; intense rains in the North and Northeast; and dry weather in the Midwest.
In the South, the action of a cold front causes storms with strong winds and the possibility of hail until this Saturday, in Rio Grande do Sul.
On Sunday (3), with the advance of the cold front, a mass of dry air is expected to enter Rio Grande do Sul, reducing minimum temperatures to values between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius (°C).
Starting tomorrow, intense rains will advance towards the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná and the coast of the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
Accumulated rainfall can reach 60mm per day and, occasionally, can exceed 100mm in Rio Grande do Sul.
The minimum relative humidity should be around 35% in the region.
In the North and Northeast regions of the country, intense rain is still forecast. Significant accumulations are predicted, around 70 mm/day, mainly between the states of Rio Grande do Norte and Pernambuco and between the states of Amapá and Pará.
