In the dance show Let’s Dance, she goes hard. In the ninth round, the ticket to the final is fought for. One of the biggest favorites, Ján Koleník, and his dance partner Dominika Rošková heard harsh criticism from judge Tatiana Drexler in the previous round.
In the eighth round, the dancers performed not only traditional ballroom dance, but also passionate contemporary. That’s exactly what Drexler was not excited about in Koleník’s performance. “For me, Janíčka, it was over-emotional, lost, and the foundation was missing. For me, rumba is step-hip-step-hip and body movement, rhythm. I’m sorry, but this was more theater than rumba.” she declared angrily.
Koleník accepted the criticism of the strict judge with humility. But it was certainly not pleasant, since until then he had only heard words of praise and complete enthusiasm. However, the bar is really high in the eleventh series and even the smallest mistakes can decide.
In the ninth round, the dancing couples perform the charleston for the first time. In the beginning, Koleník took it right away with Rošková to the song Bang Bang. Even in this dance, they did not make a mistake, which was pointed out by Ján Ďurovčík during the evaluation.
Did the couple face criticism from Tatiana Drexler again because of the mistake? “I saw that mistake and I’m even willing to forgive it, because I’m really looking forward to when you return to the dance floor with such energy, when everything is flying for you again, and actually that rhythm and that unrestrained Jano, who gives everything he can to the dance, which is not controlled by anything. I like that, I like that, I like that energy, that rhythm and that freedom that I observed with love today,” said the satisfied juror.
