One of the enthusiasts of the idea is “[Pretendemos] Take Lula to videos and podcasts on a variety of topics, which involve talking about politics during election time”, says Valadares.
Even non-specific policy programs, in areas such as football and games, for example, are in the spotlight. According to him, the objective is to reduce the candidate’s “politics” a little.
One of the models is the 2024 American presidential campaign, in which the two candidates, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, adopted this strategy. According to the PT leader, the Republican realized the importance of these electronic platforms before the Democrat.
Some videocasts and podcasts have an audience of millions of hits, which continue to resonate for a long time through excerpts cut on social networks.
At the same time, there is still no definition of Lula’s participation in debates. PT representatives have participated in preparatory meetings with vehicles that intend to organize these meetings, but there has been no confirmation of the PT member’s presence in any of them.
