Palmeiras is reported to the STJD for field invasion in the Brasileirão

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) denounced Palmeiras and Santos for the incidents recorded in the classic last Saturday (2), valid for the Brazilian Championship, at the former Allianz Parque.

In the case of Alviverde, the complaint refers to the invasion of the field by a fan dressed as Hulk, who was painted all green. The club was included in article 213 of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD), which deals with responsibility for failures in the prevention and repression of invasions. The punishment may include a fine of up to R$100,000, in addition to the possibility of losing field command, if the court considers the incident to be more serious.

According to the complaint signed by prosecutor Tairone Messias, the episode had a direct impact on the match, with the need for medical attention, the entry of an ambulance and the stoppage of the game, highlighting failures in organization and security on the part of the home club.

The club has not yet commented on the complaint.

Palmeiras took two measures regarding the episode. The club identified the fan responsible for the pitch invasion and filed a police report about the case. This is Hudson Luiz Soares Peixoto, who was injured during the action.

As an administrative measure, the club also ordered Hudson’s access to the stadium to be blocked. He will not be able to buy tickets indefinitely.

And the Fish?

Santos was denounced for being late in arriving at the stadium, which had a knock-on effect on the pre-game protocol and at the start of the match. The case will also be analyzed by the STJD in a trial yet to be scheduled.

He explained that there were unforeseen events during the trip to the stadium.
