The motion of no confidence in Romania by social democrats and far-right forces the government of Ilie Bolojan to fall

The social democrats and ultranationalists of Romania have achieved enough support this Tuesday to move forward in Parliament. In a joint session of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, the Social Democratic Party (PSD) voted against the Executive along with the far-right Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), the second largest party in Parliament, the SOS formation, of the controversial MEP Diana Șoșoacă, and the sovereigntist Youth Party (POT). The motion received 281 supports, which far exceeded the 233 needed to remove him.
