A White House official confirmed, this Tuesday (5), that the meeting between President Luiz Inácio Lula da SIlva and American President Donald Trump will take place this Thursday (7).
According to the official, “President Trump will receive President Lula for a working visit this Thursday. They will discuss economic and security issues of mutual importance.”
Working visits tend to be quick and focused on specific subjects, without the ceremonial procedures of a state visit.
The meeting was initially scheduled for March, but was postponed due to the conflict with Iran, which began on February 28.
