Startup will use infrastructure from Elon Musk’s rocket company and 220,000 Nvidia chips
A closed at 4th fair (May 6, 2026) an agreement with SpaceX, to expand its computational capacity. The startup will use the rocket company’s infrastructure to meet high demand for the artificial intelligence software .
According to the announced contract, Anthropic will access 300 megawatts of power at the Colossus 1 data center in Memphis (USA). The installation should have more than 220,000 Nvidia chips by the end of this month.
According to Anthropic, the partnership will substantially increase its resources. With this, the company plans to raise usage limits for developers using the Claude Code and Claude API tools.
Financial terms were not revealed. Market estimates indicate that the business could generate hundreds of millions of dollars annually for the Musk’s artificial intelligence that has in February this year.
Although they are competitors, Anthropic’s objective is to reduce processing bottlenecks, with SpaceX as an infrastructure supplier. The startup also maintains partnerships with Google for cloud services. In April, SpaceX had already closed a collaboration with the coding startup Cursor. Musk’s big tech is investing in building data infrastructure in the states of Tennessee and Mississippi.
