“Scandal” in the Catholic Church in Portugal: gay orgies in rectory

The complaint was handed over to the Porto Judicial Police. These are secret meetings, only for men – and with priests.

Just enter men, the meetings are secret, sexual, and many have parents inside. And many encounters take place in parish houses from the North of Portugal.

These are weekly meetings and the location varies (they also take place in northern motels); The participants also vary.

The complaint of gay orgies in parsonages was handed over to the Porto Judiciary Police (PJ). Classifies it as a possible major scandal in the Catholic Church in Portugal.

Meetings are arranged, first through the Grindr application, and then through WhatsApp. An online group is created for each party; When the encounter happens, the group is badly erased.

Those interested go to the location of the “sexual banquet”, being able to go masked or revealing their identity.

Joaquim, one of the participants and who has now denounced the meetings, describes: “Several priests and several people from the most varied professions participate. Of any age, education or status. In the last orgy I participated in there were several priests: a lot of people came and went. Many men because you only need to give a password. Whoever wants to enter, enter. I think it goes until 7:00 in the morning. It’s all night.”

“Many priests arrive with masks, but throughout the night, and because they are more relaxed, they don’t mind taking them off and saying who they are. There are those who, in fact, have kinks with priests and are more inclined to do so”, adds the witness, speaking to Correio da Manhã.

The complaint delivered to the PJ disclosed the name two fathers involved, as well as cell phone numbers and other details of the meetings.

All the priests mentioned are from Diocese of Porto. There are also priests from Diocese of Braga in orgies, according to the complaint.

At the meetings there is alcohol, “poppers” (pleasure stimulant) and those involved “smoke a few joints”.

The man who made the complaint has messages exchanged with priests, images and videos of sexual encounters.

Everyone involved is adults, all sexual acts are consensual. There are no minors at orgies.

All the priests mentioned by the complainant denied involvement in homosexual encounters.

The Diocese of Porto was “harvested from surprise with this subject, which he is completely unaware of.”
