BB renegotiated more than R$430 million in two days; half under Unrolls

O Bank of Brazil ​informed this Friday (8) that it ​renegotiated more than R$430 million in debt of its customers in two days, with approximately half of that amount related to operations within the scope of the Novo Unrolla government program ⁠aimed at families, micro and small businesses and family farmers.

For individual customers who meet the conditions of the program launched at the beginning of the week, BB said they were renegotiated R$ 10.4 million⁠in 12,614 operations, on the second day of Novo Desenrola operation by the bank.

Of the total renegotiated ‌in these two ⁠days, ‌BB also cited 1,611 contracted operations by 1.6 thousand companies within the scope of Desenrola ⁠Companies, in the lines ⁠Pronampe e Procredtotaling a disbursement of R$202.8 million.

The ‌bank stated that it is also offering differentiated conditions for customers who are not part of the program and that, in the ‌two days, 22,258 operations were renegotiated with this public, totaling more R$ 219.6 million.

The government ⁠estimates to use up to R$15 billion in guarantees from Unity to provide lower interest rates to debtors. The initiative, which will be open for 90 days, is a response to the population’s high levels of debt.
