After rejecting the name of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), the senator (PSB-MG) has resumed direct contact with PT directors and leaders to unlock the candidacy for the Government of Minas Gerais.
Last week alone, he met with at least six members of the party, including the national president of the party, Edinho Silva (-SP), and the president of the PT in MG, state deputy Leninha.
The meeting with Edinho took place after the party president announced that Pacheco would no longer run for state government.
In addition, he has scheduled individual meetings with members of the caucus. Parliamentarians who met with Pacheco say they are more confident in his candidacy for state government.
the senator has told allies that he will make a decision by the end of this month.
This Monday (11), Pacheco will meet again with Edinho. In the same week, he must participate in the meeting between (PT) and the president of , (-AP).
A parliamentarian stated, with reservations, that Pacheco is the best for the state. And he countered the friendly fire at the PT by saying that he does not believe in an alleged articulation by the senator against the name of Messias.
The Attorney General of the Union had his name rejected by the Senate to fill a vacancy in the STF. The veto was directly coordinated by Alcolumbre, who asked allies to vote against it.
