David Komatz ends his active career.
Rottenmann – David Komatz (34) has ended his biathlon career. After the resignations of long-time top performers Lisa Hauser and Simon Eder, the ÖSV has lost another source of support. The father of two from Styria’s greatest successes were the two World Cup silver medals in the mixed relay in Pokljuka 2021 and in the single mixed relay in Oberhof 2023. Komatz competed in over 200 World Cup races.
