“Hostile drones are currently located over Kyiv. Please remain safe until the alert is lifted.” Tymur Tkachenko, the head of the capital’s military administration, wrote on Telegram.
The three-day ceasefire, in effect since May 9, ended on Monday before midnight local time. A temporary ceasefire was brokered last week by US President Donald Trump on the occasion of Victory Day celebrations in Moscow. Although Russia refrained from massive drone and missile attacks during it, both sides reported numerous instances of ceasefire violations.
