Islamabad/Kabul – According to police, ten people were killed in a bomb attack on a market in northwestern Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan. The fatalities included two police officers and eight civilians, a senior police representative said on Tuesday. Around 30 other people were injured, some of them seriously, the rescue workers said. The attack threatens to further escalate tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
