BC points out R$10.6 billion forgotten by people and companies

The Central Bank reported this Tuesday (May 12, 2026) that the amounts available for redemption in the Receivables System total R$ 10.6 billion, according to March data. Of the total, R$8.1 billion belongs to 45.3 million individuals, while R$2.4 billion belongs to 5 million companies.

Since the beginning of the program, R$14.6 billion has already been returned. Of this total, R$10.7 billion returned to 35.6 million individuals. Another R$3.8 billion was returned to 4.4 million companies.

The distribution of amounts still available shows that 62.9% of the amounts vary from R$0.01 to R$10. Values ​​from R$10.01 to R$100 represent 24.2% of the total. Amounts from R$100.01 to R$1,000 correspond to 10.9% of available resources. Values ​​above R$1,000 represent 2% of the amount.

The amounts available in the Amounts Receivable System may be used as collateral in Desenrola 2.0. The federal government’s debt renegotiation program plans to mobilize between R$5 billion and R$8 billion of receivables for this purpose.

The Ministry of Finance informed that the government will publish a notice for people to redeem these resources. The authority also indicated that 10% of this resource will be reserved to pay people who eventually win legal actions in the future.

Citizens can check whether they have money to receive through the Receivable Amounts System. The consultation is free. Access must be done through the portal .

To enable the automatic function, you must have a gov.br account with the silver or gold security seal. Two-step verification must be enabled. The functionality is only available to individuals with a Pix key linked to their CPF number.

The user must provide CPF and password. Then consult the Receivable Amounts System with the CPF and date of birth. If you have amounts to receive, you must select to link the account to Pix linked to the CPF. Finally, enable the function.
