Berlin – Former Cum-Ex mastermind Hanno Berger has to serve a ten-year prison sentence for tax evasion. He was convicted by the Bonn regional court and the Wiesbaden regional court. Now the prison sentences imposed by the two courts for the 75-year-old have been combined to a total sentence of ten years, as a spokesman for the Bonn Regional Court said. WDR had previously reported on it. Berger has been behind bars since 2022.
