For many years, Android was the dominant topic in the introductory keynote to the annual Google I/O conference. But then came the big AI hype, and so the space for other topics in the introductory keynote became quite limited. This year, a fireworks display of announcements from the field of “artificial intelligence” is expected again for the event starting on May 19th.
