Decision comes after Anvisa maintained its decision on the manufacturer’s appeal this Friday; On the company’s website, however, a form has already been made available where users can obtain information about the goods
Ypê advised this Friday (15) that consumers who have products from batch 1 keep the merchandise stored until “that new reports from independent laboratories confirm the absence of contamination.”
The decision comes after Anvisa maintained this Friday the decision on the manufacturer’s appeal, initially scheduled for Wednesday (13), was defined in a meeting of the health body’s Collegiate Board. The result of the vote was unanimous. Despite the decision, in a post shared on social media, the company guaranteed that “the products are safe for the consumer”.
According to the company, “liquid laundry products, liquid dishwashers and disinfectants with final batch 1 do not need to be returned at this time.” THE company also reinforced that all products that do not have ending 1 on the lot remain released for sale and use.

Remember the case

The original restriction was motivated by possible contamination e due to non-compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice standardsflaws identified during a joint health inspection with bodies from the state and municipality of São Paulo.
Química Amparo, manufacturer of Ypê, filed an appeal against the decision. The appeal guaranteed automatic suspensive effect on punishmentwhich freed the temporary sale of items. However, with Anvisa’s decision this Friday, the appeal is no longer valid.
