The Tornavoz Institute, with support from the Google News Initiative, is promoting the webinar “Electoral Rights for Journalists – 2026” between the 19th and 26th of May, free of charge.
The initiative addresses the most relevant topics related to elections. The webinar will be divided into two meetings, led by lawyers Isabel Mota and Maíra Recchia and mediated by journalist Sanara Santos, director of Énois and co-founder of Transmídia.
Topics such as the functioning of the Electoral Court and the rules of the dispute will be discussed, in addition to communication in elections, with a focus on digital propaganda, disinformation, journalistic coverage and main rights and duties during the electoral period.
