Senator Flávio Bolsonaro () stated this Saturday (12) that his opponents underestimate him, reaffirmed his pre-candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic and said that the October election will be a contest between God and the devil.

“I woke up with a thought in my head: ‘he who is weak in difficulty is really weak’, and they underestimated me once again, thinking they were going to shut me up, intimidate me, forgetting that here there is Bolsonaro blood, I’m not going to give up on Brazil”, said the senator at a political event in Sorocaba (SP).
In a speech, the son of former president Jari Bolsonaro (PL) made a series of criticisms of President Lula and adopted a religious tone when comparing his political group with his opponent.
“We do what is right, and they want to turn it into wrong. They do what is wrong and make you believe it is right. Raise your head, puff out your chest, because strength and truth are on our side. […] He is with the devil and we are with God”, he said.
Afterwards, Flávio made a series of criticisms of President Lula’s (PT) government and said that the country is “turned upside down” under PT management. And he once again reaffirmed his candidacy.
“They tried to bury me alive. I’m more willing than ever. I know people who will be with us with their fists clenched,” he said.
The political event in Sorocaba was led by federal deputy Guilherme Derrite (PP), a pre-candidate for the Senate on the ticket that will be led by governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).
Datafolha research released this Saturday (12) shows that the president was still tied with the senator in the simulation of the second round of presidential elections until the publication of conversations between the parliamentarian and former banker Daniel Vorcaro.
