Venezuela hands over Alex Saab, Maduro’s alleged front man, to the United States

The Government of Venezuela announced this Saturday the deportation, which represents a new and decisive chapter in the long judicial file that weighs on the country. Once protected by the regime, Saab fell into disgrace after the capture of the Venezuelan president on January 3, and was detained in strange circumstances and under total secrecy last February. Since then, his whereabouts and the charges against him have been officially unknown.
