Horror took over the motorcycle festival in Montmeló at times after a terrifying accident halfway through the Catalunya MotoGP GP this Sunday. A technical problem for Pedro Acosta (KTM) in the middle of the back straight, while leading the test, caused the worst stoppage in an incident with several riders affected. The 30-year-old driver from Cervera was immediately evacuated by ambulance to the track’s medical center after being treated on the track. He was conscious and was relatively well, out of danger, according to his relatives, present at the circuit. The Ducati Gresini rider was later transferred to the General Hospital of Catalonia, in Sant Cugat del Vallés, to receive more exhaustive care.
