Uranium, nuclear program and war compensation are points of contention. Trump considered Tehran’s proposal “unacceptable” and “a piece of garbage.” US and Israeli attacks could resume in the coming days.
The United States demanded that Iran delivery of highly enriched uranium ea limiting the nuclear program to a single active facility as conditions to advance peace negotiations, an official source indicated today.
According to reports by the Iranian state news agency Fars, linked to the Revolutionary Guard, Washington also demands the waiver of compensation for war damage.
Fars said the US administration responded to Tehran’s latest proposal with several demands, including the delivery by Iran of 440 kilograms of enriched uranium to 60%with the Islamic Republic being able to maintain only one nuclear installation active.
Furthermore, Fars indicated that, according to the proposal, Washington will not pay any compensation or compensation to Iran for war damages, it will not even unlock 25% of Iranian assets frozen abroadas Tehran demands.
