The decision, according to the Panel, is related to the importance that the president gives to social networks in the election.
The idea is that the PT and the campaign’s communication coordination, led by marketer Raul Rabelo, work together. The chief minister of Secom (Secretariat of Social Communication of the Presidency), Sidônio Palmeira, should also have an important participation.
The other members of the coordination are the president of the PT, Edinho Silva, the PT leaders Mônica Valente and Mazé Morais, the former president of the Perseu Abramo Foundation Paulo Okamotto, the former president of Petrobras José Sérgio Gabrielli, the former chief of staff of the Presidency Gilberto Carvalho, the former mayor of Diadema José de Filippi, the minister Guilherme Boulos (General Secretariat) and the former minister of Education Camilo Santana.
A generational issue also weighed on the decision to expand coordination. The objective is to mix people with political experience and a long-standing relationship with Lula with others who signal the renewal of the party.
