Research showed that former ministers are also the most rejected names for the Upper House
Institute research Gerp released this Monday (18) showed I am an ex-minister Simone Tebet (PSB) and Marina Silva (Network) on leadership to the Senate for São Paulo. The former holder of the Planning and Budget portfolio has 24% of voting intentions for the first vacancy in the Upper House, while the federal deputy registers 23%.
The federal deputy Guilherme Melts (PP) is o third most rated to the first seat in São Paulo, com 18%. Next, the former minister appears Márcio França (PSB), com 8%federal deputy Ricardo Salles (Novo), com 5%and the president of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo (Alesp), André do Prado (PL), com 3%.

For the vacancy second senatorTebet and Marina also lead. Of those interviewed, 19% said they would vote for the former minister of Planning and Budget. The deputy has 18% of voting intentions.
Guilherme Derrite falls to penultimate place in voting intentions for the second Senate seat
No second scenarioin which it was presented who supports each from names to the Upper House, Derrite leads the voting intention for first senator with 28%. The deputy is followed by Marina Silva (23%) and Tebet (18%).
André do Prado and Márcio França appear technically tied, com 8%. Ricardo Salles figure in last, com 4%.

Marina Silva and Tebet are the least accepted names in São Paulo for the Senate. The former holder of the Environment and Climate Change portfolio is rejected by 39% of the interviewees, while 22% said they would not vote in the former head of Planning and Budget.André do Prado and Márcio França are the least rejected. Of those interviewed, 17% said they would not vote in the former holder of the Entrepreneurship, Microenterprise and Small Business portfolio. The state deputy recorded 16% rejection.
Derrite is rejected by 21% of those interviewed, Ricardo Salles, by 20%
From May 11th to 15th, the Gerp institute interviewed 1,400 people by telephone. The margin of error is 2.67 percentage points with a confidence rate of 95.55%. The survey was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) on May 11, 2026 with number SP-06865/2026.
