Washington – According to an internal letter, Facebook parent company Meta is planning to cut ten percent of its global workforce and undertake a far-reaching restructuring with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI). The layoffs are to be announced on Wednesday, according to a document dated Monday seen by the Reuters news agency.
