The PL sued the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) asking for the suspension, by injunction, of the publication of the AtlasIntel/Bloomberg survey on the 2026 presidential election, released this Tuesday (19). The caption’s action questions whether there was a negative induction in the survey participants’ responses.
The question for Flávio Bolsonaro’s pre-campaign is whether the audio between him and former banker Daniel Vorcaro was shown to respondents before the question about voting intentions for president. The hypothesis raised is that prior exposure to audio could have influenced responses about electoral preference.
In an interview with WWAndrei Roman, from AtlasIntel, was categorical when responding to questions about . “I can guarantee that 100% of the responses were obtained from respondents who were redirected after submitting the main questionnaire to the audio,” he said. According to him, no participant listened to the audio before answering the main research questionnaire, and it would be impossible to go back and revisit the questionnaire to change any answer depending on the audio test.
Roman also added that the research was duly registered with the TSE, as per legal obligation, and that the documentation presented makes it clear that the audio test appears as the last item evaluated, after submission of the main questionnaire. “There was absolutely no induction, no type of influence from this,” he declared.
Conclusions about the Bolsonarista electorate
In addition to refuting accusations of induction, Andrei Roman commented on the results obtained with the audio test. According to him, the test was opportune to understand nuances related to the Bolsonarist electorate. “Flávio Bolsonaro’s speech did not have such a negative impact within this electorate”, he assessed.
Roman explained that Flávio Bolsonaro’s thesis — that he was just asking for private money for a private cultural project — seems to have been accepted by a majority of his electorate. However, he made an important distinction: “One thing is a majority within Bolsonarista voters, another thing is the electorate as a whole”, he pondered.
