Twins Daniela and Veronika Nízlové have a jubilee, they turned 40 on May 15. They celebrated the life milestone in a big way with their family, friends and loved ones. However, the mother of six-year-old Linda had to deal with a painful health complication at the last minute. “The day before the party and he can stab me in the back?” she complained to followers on Monday, May 18, on Daniela’s social network. She also thanked the clinic in which they reunited her.
On the birthday of the singers from the duo Twiins, Veronika spoke touchingly to her sister and wrote beautiful words on Instagram. “From the first breath, the first step, the first dreams… to all the falls, laughter, tears, successes and moments that taught us to be stronger. Being a twin is a gift. Having a person with you who understands you even without words is a rarity. Today we celebrate 40. Not a number… but a life,” she said.
She added that they celebrate everything they have survived, fought for, sung about, cried about and embraced. “And if we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that the most important thing in life is not to be perfect… but to have someone with whom you can be yourself. Thank you for every person who is part of our story. 40 can start,” the mother of little Nei (4) poured her heart out.
From a children’s competition to millions of sales
The singing career of the sister duo began in 1996 and is connected with the children’s singing competition Hviezdička. In 1998, they moderated the TV show Detský klích. In 2000, they released their debut album, Tweens, and its sales reached almost 11,000 units. A year later, they released their second album Máme čas. They collaborated with Vaš Patejdl and Michal David on this album.
After the release of the album, they hosted the TV music show Hitbox. In October 2003, they released the third Try a match. Peter Farnbauer was involved in the authorship and arrangement of this album. In 2005, they released their fourth studio album, Love Wants More. Daniela and Veronika also had their stage premiere, performing in the Czech musical Rebels directed by Filip Renč.
In October 2009, they released an album called Compromise, sung entirely in English. They represented Slovakia in May 2011 with a song I’m Still Alive at the 56th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. In January 2014, together with the American singer Flo Rida, they filmed a video clip for the song One Night Stand, which was a great success in Japan. In the land of the rising sun, they were also successful in February 2016 with the song Hey Boy! (Why Do I Bother?), which they recorded with Sean Paul.
The most beautiful role in life
In October 2017 they released the single Yes It Is and in April 2018 the single Our Own Paradise. In November 2021, the twins released the album Zlatá brána wide open. Daniela gave birth to a daughter Linda in January 2020, the father is football player Stano Lobotka. In November 2021, Veronika had a daughter, Nea, with the actor and singer Matúš Kolárovský.
